Transition Hawaii helps make classroom education relevant in the lives of Hawaii’s young adults by featuring real people who pursued and realized their goals and dreams. The Career Pathways allow students to share in the journey to achieve success in a career.
Our Mission
We care about the future of Hawaii’s youth. Our mission is to create sustainable programs that give direction and purpose for our youth as they make their transition into adulthood. Whether immediately joining the workforce or pursuing higher education, our hope is that they become caring, responsible, and contributing members of our community.
Our Goals
- Bring relevance of classroom education to young readers
- Provide a bridge for students transferring from high school into higher education; and subsequently into the professions
- Stress the importance of post-secondary school education of all types
- Guide students and career seekers to resources that are available through schools and other organizations
